Ghostwriting across Substack, blogs, and LinkedIn articles.
Long-form thought leadership content for SaaS leaders
You bring the ideas. I turn them into long-form content that builds your reputation as a leader in your space.
Whether it’s a weekly Substack newsletter, a blog cadence that supports your funnel, or LinkedIn articles that put your thinking in front of the right people, I handle the writing so you can spend more time building your company.
How it works
Month 1
Onboarding and strategy
We’ll spend the first month aligning, researching, and building the foundation for long-term success.
Weekly ramp calls
We’ll do weekly calls during month 1 to ramp up as quickly as possible
Content audit
I’ll review any existing content and poke through Google Search Console. If it isn’t already set up, we’ll set it up.
Define your messaging pillars
We’ll work together to clarify what you want to be known for and who you’re speaking to.
Build your 3×5 content strategy
We’ll map out themes, personas, metrics, goals, and channels for your content.
Set up tools and calendar
We’ll set up a shared project manager and content calendar so we’re organized and aligned from the start.
Create a style guide
We’ll define your voice, tone, and formatting guidelines.
Monthly briefing calls
We’ll schedule 90-min calls ahead of time so they’re on the calendar and we keep momentum.
Month 2 and onward
Writing and publishing
Now we get the ball rolling with a consistent cadence and room to adapt as we go.
Build and execute content calendar
We’ll hit the ground running, building your content calendar and executing against it.
Collaborate and adjust
We’ll use our calls to work through new topics and stay aligned
Monthly recaps
At the end of each month, I’ll send a recap of what I worked on, what’s going well, and ideas for things we can improve.

“Jake is a fantastic writer to work with. Not only is he knowledgeable about a wide range of topics related to startups, he's so easy to communicate with, delivers on time, and always goes above and beyond the brief. I'd highly recommend Jake to any businesses looking to grow their audience with blog content.”
-Melanie Broder (Startup Stockpile / Unitel)
“I've worked with Jake remotely for several years. Jake is a dream to work with. His bright, positive, and can-do attitude supports his well-researched posts that are always meticulously written and on time. As an editor, if I don't understand the context of something he has written based on his experience in the field, nothing is too much trouble for him to explain the full picture to me. I must say, I really enjoy working with Jake and his many contributions.”

I price based on outcomes and the value delivered, not word count or hours spent.
Monthly ghostwriting retainers start at $4,000
For one-off projects, I charge a flat fee starting at $850, depending on scope and project type.
If I’m involved in strategy and creating a brief, I charge an additional $250.

The sooner you submit revision requests, the better, as the project is still fresh in my brain.
I ask that revision requests be delivered within 30 days of the draft submission.
If revision requests are submitted more than 30 days after delivery of a draft, I will consider the project complete. Any additional revisions at that point will be treated as a separate project, for which I will provide an estimate and timeline.
-
For one-off projects, I will deliver a draft within two weeks after receiving all deliverables.
For retainer clients, I will deliver drafts by the end of the month.
-
For monthly retainers, I send the invoice on or around the 1st of each month.
For one-off projects, I invoice once I submit the draft.
Payment is due within 30 days. Late payments are subject to a 5% late fee.

AI can be an effective tool for conducting research and workshopping ideas. I use AI to help refine structure and clarity. I see it as a tool to enhance my work, not replace it.
AI detection tools are not always reliable. While I ensure my writing is high-quality and original, if needed, I’m happy to make adjustments to align with specific guidelines on AI use.
My focus is on creating high-quality content that humans love to read, and that search engines and LLMs can easily find.
