Here’s what you need to know about paying for my freelance writing services:

  • Invoices are issued at the end of the month.

Frequently asked questions

  • AI can be an effective tool for idea generation and research. I use AI to help refine structure and clarity, but the core ideas and direction are mine. I see it as a tool to enhance my work, not replace it.

Specifically, I use tools like Grammarly for real-time editing, Claude for feedback on drafts, and Perplexity for research when I need specific stats that are hard to find through regular search.

AI detection tools are not always reliable. While I ensure my writing is high quality and original, if needed, I’m happy to make adjustments to align with specific guidelines around AI usage.

  • Yes, I have a fair and straightforward contract that outlines how we'll work together, the scope of work, pricing, etc.

  • My standard turnaround time is 10–14 business days, depending on my current schedule. As I get closer to the end of the month, that window may extend a bit since I’m often booking projects into the following month.

If you have a specific deadline in mind, let me know, and I’ll confirm availability or suggest the next best start date.

  • My standard rates include a phone call to kick off the project, however, this is rarely needed as long as the brief is thorough.

  • In order to stay focused and productive across client projects, I typically keep communication to email and Google doc comments. However, if joining Slack becomes absolutely necessary, I’m happy to revisit this.

  • I've been writing professionally since 2009, and I'm happy to say I've never had major issues meeting client expectations. If the first draft doesn't hit the mark, I provide two rounds of reasonable revisions.

  • I reserve the right to post any writing work (including ghostwritten projects) to my portfolio if I choose unless otherwise agreed to.

  • I charge $100/hr for work not included in the fixed price.

  • Anything beyond two revisions is rare, but I'm happy to continue iterating on your project at a rate of $100/hr if we get to a third round of revisions.

  • Once the contract is signed, we're ready to get started!

Ideally, you share a content brief with me so I can write content that aligns with your expectations. If you've never created a content brief before, I can provide a template for you to use.

If you don't have time to create content briefs, that's ok. We can work without them, but some sort of direction and alignment with the tone of voice will be necessary.
